ValidaTek would like to thank and acknowledge David DeLeon for this hard work and dedication! David works as a Senior Enterprise Services Engineer for the Department of State (DoS) / Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA) / Office of Consular Systems and Technologies (CST) / Consular Affairs IT Support and Services (CISS). David leads the Windows Services team and manages Windows systems such as Email Exchange, Active Directory and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). Under his guidance, the team was able to increase the number of servers successfully patched monthly by SCCM from 845 servers to more than 1,300 of CA’s total 2,035 servers. With the new patching initiative, the average monthly deployment success rate on the initial deployment has increased to more than 90 percent. David is known as one of the ultimate “go to guys” for tasks faced on this project as he continues to assist with project planning and apply his knowledge of the CA environment. David became a ValidaTek employee in March of 2016, but has been working with CA since January of 2015. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Networking Operation and has eighteen years of experience in IT.
When asked how he feels about working with ValidaTek, David stated that even though he is on a contract, ValidaTek ensures to make him and all other employees on contracts know they are still a part of the ValidaTek family. He enjoys working with such an amazing team that has been great throughout the years and together they enjoy each other’s successes.
